We had a lovely stay at this friendly, welcoming campsite and would happily return. The facilities are good, with one slightly dated toilet block that was spotlessly clean but could do with a little refurbishment. There’s also a well-stocked information room, a laundry, and a practical dishwashing area. The on-site shop is handy, and there’s an excellent farm shop just next door selling newspapers, fresh produce, and other essential supplies. One of the highlights of our stay was our evening bike rides down to the sea and along the beautiful coastal path – a fantastic way to end the day. We also enjoyed fish and chips from the Start Bay Inn. The food was excellent, although a little on the expensive side. They also offer a takeaway service, which is a great option. The only thing to be aware of is the approach to the campsite. The roads are very narrow, so you’ll need to be confident driving on single-track lanes, especially as you may encounter buses and larger vehicles along the way. Overall, it’s a wonderful campsite in a beautiful location with a friendly atmosphere. It’s well worth a visit, and we’d definitely recommend it.

Spent a wonderful first week of the summer holidays here with my husband and 5 year old daughter. The pitches were really spacious and the team were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location is perfect - just a short walk to Torcross beach and also a few minutes walk to Stokeley Farm shop which has great brunch options and homemade pizzas. The campsite has great facilities and even a playground which our daughter really enjoyed. Highly recommend!

very nice, lovely , well-organized place, very clean and with nice staff who are very helpful.. the motorhome space is large and wide, there is room for all kinds of things like tables and chairs and no one bothers each other, very green and well-kept place. Clear toilets and shower small shop.. Walking short distance to the sea and the beach, and very close to this place there is a farm where you can buy good local beer, good food and various garden items

Very well laid out site. Staff very friendly and helpful. Easy booking in and told to find a pitch we liked and just tell them. Very clean facilities. Our pitch also had a TV point which was needed as reception in the valley isn't great. Walked into Torcross and were amazed at the damage caused by the February storm. Had to 'feel' for all the small businesses. Hope the through road gets repaired quickly.
