About Surf Bay Holiday Park

Surf Bay Holiday Park sits on Golf Links Road in Westward Ho!, a Victorian seaside village on the north Devon coast. The location puts you within moments of the beach—Electrofish Surfboards is next door, and the seafront itself is just a few paces away at Eastbourne Terrace. The Willows pub is equally close by.

The park offers lodging accommodation with shower facilities on site. The setting draws water-sports enthusiasts and families looking for direct beach access; the promenade and open coastline are the main draw rather than on-site activity. For a seaside break where you can step straight out to the shore, this works well.

I rented a private caravan, it was small, but perfect for me owner was lovely lady and the place was spotlessly clean and everything worked once I got hang of lighting the gas cooker. Quite possibly the best caravan ive stayed in and sight was so peaceful and it felt very safe there. I think I will be back one day.

Great holiday park which is a short distance from the town/beach. Great if you catch the mobile fish n chip van there on a Friday evening.

Really nice accommodation not too far from the seafront. I think the dream is to have beach front but this is located nicely. Only issue is a busy road used by locals as a bit of race track. Not a massive issue but noticed it. Nothing the park can do about it. Check in is super easy. I am going to say again the accommodation is lovely and roomy.

A Coastal Gem with Hot Tub Heaven! Our stay at the Sandymere apartment was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we stepped inside, we were impressed with the cleanliness and the stylish nautical theme throughout. The open-plan living area was perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach, with a huge Smart TV and Bluetooth sound system for entertainment. The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked – we had everything we needed and more, including a dishwasher and coffee machine. A real home away from home! The bedrooms were comfortable, fans provided in both rooms, along with towels for both the hot tub and showering also an added touch was the robes, both rooms also had TVs and DVD players. And the bathrooms? Pure luxury! The jacuzzi bath was a highlight, perfect for unwinding after a long walk. But the star of the show has to be the hot tub on the spacious terrace! The hot tub was a highlight of our stay, it was probably one of the most well maintained hot tubs we have had and the maintenance team are a real credit. We spent every evening enjoying the warmth of the hot tub while watching the stars above. The location of the apartment was also ideal, just a short stroll from the beach. Perfect for dog walks October to April as you can walk the entire beach without restrictions, just be aware from May 1st to September 30th you do need to walk the dogs on the far end of the beach which is another 5 or 10 minutes walk away. Otherwise a perfect location. As dog owners, we really appreciated the pet-friendly policy. The dedicated parking bay was great. The park also had a laundry room which was coin operated and this seemed good value for money cost around £10 for wash and dry for a large load. This was also well maintained and at the entrance to the park. You can also find some flyers and information about the area in here. Overall, we couldn't recommend the Sandymere apartment more highly. It provided everything we needed for a comfortable and memorable coastal getaway. We can't wait to return!
