We had a lovely family weekend here and would definitely come back. The caravan was clean and well-equipped, and the facilities were excellent. The indoor and outdoor pools were great, and it was so convenient that there was no need to pre-book. There was plenty to keep the children entertained, and Woolacombe Beach is only a 10-minute drive away. Overall, a fantastic place for a family holiday. Highly recommended!

We have just returned from our first 7-night stay at Twitchen House. We stayed on the touring part in our own caravan on a large part grass/hard standing pitch. Originally we were allocated a pitch which was really un-level so we asked to move and they were really accommodating. The entire site is super spotless as well as the pool, slides and touring facilities. The shower block even had a sauna and steam room. I am a little bit of a facilities snob and I was comfortable and really happy with how clean everything was. My one and only niggle is that the WiFi was terrible for us so much that when we arrived we couldn’t review which dates we’d pre booked our activities and missed out the following day. The indoor pool also had something for all ages. My girls also did paint-a-pot and the room was really nice and modern and the ladies were super kind and helpful. We only drove into Easewell Farm which seemed lovely but too small for us (just a personal preference) and we also visited the main Woolacombe Bay site once which also had great pool facilities and seemed really well Kept. I think the value for money is fab along with the gorgeous location and views. When the lifeguards finish at 6pm they make the swimming pool shallow which both my girls loved. I wish they do this from a much earlier time of the day or had a shallow pool for little ones. That’s the only thing that the pool is quite deep so you cant let your little ones just paddle or sit with them. Overall we had an fab holiday and will 100% be back next year or if not the year after!

We stayed here on a touring pitch and I have to say it was very disappointing. The pitch we had was literally like a car park space and there were no privacy boundaries between our pitch and the others. You had a square of tarmac and square of grass. We had kids literally doing circuits round our van, throwing stones and kicking balls around our car. If there was hedges separating the pitches it would have been very beneficial. The site itself is very very busy and just too manic for us. The restaurants were packed of an evening and you had over an hour wait for food. Also they charge in region of £5 extra for a burger if you sat in and ate it which I found excessive. Shower blocks are average, showers themselves are not very powerful and there is only 1 family room which for a family orientated site seems ridiculous. Also beware of the ‘short stroll to the beach’. This is a long steep walk downhill and the fittest person would find this a challenge. The access road to the site is also very narrow so if your taking an motorhome or caravan beware because in some places it’s very difficult if you meet oncoming traffic! Overall site is just not for us.

Had a caravan for 8 people, very clean and tidy only downside was the bedrooms with the single beds are definitely not designed for adults. I am on the larger size (16/18) and had great difficulty getting dressed in the small space. On the plus side the site was well managed, clean and very entertaining for the children. In addition we could use the facilities at Woolacombe Bay Park which was also extremely clean and lots to do. Would definitely go again but would look at two smaller caravans to take advantage of the double bedrooms in both.
