We had a week here and loved it. We stayed in a dog friendly static caravan, which was clean and tidy. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The site itself was also clean. tidy and relaxing, we only used the indoor pool which was great (the outdoor pool was always busy when we went to use it). The site is very dog friendly, allowing dogs into the club. There is a footpath from the site down into Woolacomde which only takes about 15mins to walk. We will be returning to this site in the future.

Fantastic campsite on a steep hillside, make sure your brakes and clutch are good to go. Awesome , free entertainment, food, games, laundrette on site. 15 minutes walk down to the beach. Good selection of statics , touring pitches and camping pitches. Great facilities for kids with a small play park and an astropitch with loads of kids playing ad hoc football games. Avoid avenue five near the toilet if you dont like being near noisy kids playing. Generally kids behaviour was great. There were some energetic groups of adults having bbqs etc but very quiet at night. The price was unbeatable and the cleanliness of the while site difficult to beat. Friendly atmosphere. I prefer wild camping but across the valley we saw wild deer and foxes from the comfort of our campsite.

The site is very well run. They clearly invest in the facilities as everything was so well maintained and clean. Our kids loved the entertainment. The site is minutes walk from the main town and beach. But the best thing about Woolacombe Sands is the staff. They are all so welcoming, friendly and helpful. We are already talking about a return trip and would recommend it to anyone.

Plastic/upvc sofas, ants, no fans or parasols available to loan or rent. Front decking was small but ok. Spa.. sauna tepid, hot tub far too hot, pool is apparently a plunge pool, apparently was freezing (I expected to be able to have a swim). Beach is a trek of around 1hr with unstable terrain. We stayed in a Gold 3 bed caravan. Restaurant, no AC, but food and drinks were fine. Outdoor pool was nice, flume for children, sun loungers, and parasols available if you got there early. Didn't go to or use the indoor pool or entertainment. Plenty of outside space and play parks for children to enjoy. Overall, it was ok, although we wouldn't return.
