Hatfield Outdoor Activity Centre and Campsite

We have just come back from a weekend camping here. We had a lovely stay and the site is just what we wanted. It’s family friendly but it’s not too noisy. I feel the site is very nicely sized, not too large but also not too small. Pitch sizes are decent, we comfortably fit our air 6xl tent and car on the pitch and still had plenty of space. The toilet block is modern and clean, the shower and toilet is all in one unit. The toilets were also constantly stocked with toilet roll, bonus! It’s nice having the added activity’s onsite and our family used the aqua park. It was easy to purchase tickets for this and complete the needed forms. I would return to this site for camping again, thank you!

Great activities for all the family, easy to find and plenty of parking. Daughter went on the assault course, they provide wetsuits and buoyancy aids. Lifeguards in place just incase anything happens. Also there's paddle boarding, family paddle board's, family canoe's,kayaks, sailboats and open water swimming. There's a cafe that serves burger meals and light bites,it is also a licenced bar. There's a campsite but we didn't have a look around.

Hatfield Outdoor Activity Centre is a lovely spot for outdoor activities and a relaxing day by the water. The surroundings are peaceful, with plenty of space for walking, water sports, and family time. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the facilities were generally well maintained. A few areas could use some improvement, but overall, it’s well worth a visit.

A very well organized centre and the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. I took my 10 yr old granddaughter with me for her first time and the lady by the lake side was really lovely with her explaining how she would feel and what to expect.
