Wold Lodge Leisure - Scandinavian Lodge

Wold Lodge Leisure's Scandinavian Lodge is a detached log cabin set within 300 acres of woodland at Kenwick, a few miles from Louth. The building sits on the edge of an 18-hole golf course that winds through mature trees and nine lakes; a bar and restaurant lie about half a mile away on foot. Paths lead directly from the lodge into the surrounding woodland, and cycle routes connect to the Lincolnshire Wolds inland or towards the coast.

The entire ground floor is yours alone. A spacious open-plan living and dining area has a sofa bed and a patio door onto a large veranda facing the golf course. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, hob, dishwasher and all the basics. Bedroom one contains a kingsize bed with an ensuite shower; bedroom two has two singles. The main bathroom offers a bath with shower. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered. Two cars can park on site. One well-behaved pet stays free. The lodge is entirely non-smoking.

Louth itself, a Georgian market town two and a half miles away, has shops, pubs, restaurants and a cinema. Fishing lakes dot the area within a five-mile radius. The coast—Mablethorpe and Sutton-on-Sea with their quiet beaches—is roughly 20 minutes' drive east. Donna Nook's seal breeding grounds, worth visiting in season, are about the same distance away.
