What visitors say
As a family of 4 we were staying in the local area and on a recommendation we made a reservation online, a simple process. On arrival we were shown to our booth seating which could be a bit tight for someone on the large size. The food was enjoyable with plenty of choice including a children’s menu which pleased our granddaughter. Overall, a pleasant atmosphere and the staff were extremely helpful, a good experience all round and we wouldn’t hesitate to visit again

We visited the Ship on Sunday 12th April for lunch. This is a great pub with a lovely friendly atmosphere, really helpful and welcoming staff, so dog friendly and good selection of ales. We booked the carvery Sunday lunch and it was delicious. Very generous portions , lovely vegetables really tender and tasty meats. I would highly recommend this pub, if you're in the area give it a visit, especially if you have a dog. They also have facilities for motorhome overnights.

Visited a few times for drinks and food in large beer garden. Easy parking. Service at bar was quick and friendly. We also ordered food from the lobster shack outside - seafood was fresh and dressed crab was delicious. Great place to spend an afternoon. Recommended!

Great pub stopover in the motorhome! Amazing views from the pitch, great walks on the doorstep, not too far to walk to Bridlington and you have the land train option as well Super close to Sewerby Hall which was a lovely visit. Food was good, pea and pancetta soup was excellent!! Fab set up for drinks inside and out, good options, cafe on site also! Very reasonable price for stay and money off food if eating in pub so good value! Would recommend and would definitely stay again
