Fisherman’s Friend

Fisherman's Friend is a ground-floor apartment across the road from Bridlington beach. Built for accessibility, it has a ramp entrance into a bright conservatory, an enclosed courtyard to the rear, and everything on one level. Two bedrooms sleep four: the first has a zip-and-link kingsize (or two singles on request) with a 32" TV, the second a double bed and another 32" TV. There is one bathroom with both bath and shower cubicle, plus a separate toilet. A spacious kitchen/dining area has an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, and breakfast bar opening on to the conservatory. The living room centres on a 42" Smart TV and electric fire.

The essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi—are included, along with parking for one car on site and additional parking on the road. One dog stays free. The owner also runs the Hotel Expanse next door, and guests can use its restaurant, bar and entertainment facilities. Bridlington itself offers a working harbour, shops, restaurants and Spa Theatre. The Yorkshire Wolds and North York Moors are a short drive away. Danes Dyke Nature Reserve sits along the cliffs, and a land train runs as far as Sewerby. The leisure centre has a swimming pool and climbing walls, and two golf courses are nearby. No smoking.
