Flamborough's clifftop position draws walkers and birdwatchers to this stretch of the East Riding coast. The lighthouse is within reach on foot, and the RSPB sanctuary at Bempton sits a few miles further along the headland. Filey's beach and promenade are close enough for a day trip, as are Scarborough and Bridlington. The village itself has a shop, pub and restaurant within fifty yards of the cottage.
Lobster Cottage is a three-storey terraced property sleeping four across two bedrooms: a double on the first floor and two singles on the second. The ground floor holds a living room with a woodburner and a separate kitchen-dining room with a full cooker and washing machine. There is one bathroom with a bath and shower. An enclosed patio opens from the ground floor. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen, towels and fuel for the stove are included; heating comes from electric storage radiators. The cottage accepts one well-behaved pet at no extra charge. No smoking is permitted inside.
The exposed beams and slate floors are original to the building's character as a fisherman's cottage. Access to the front door is level. Parking is on the road outside.

This cottage is the best holiday accommodation I have stayed in. It is well equipped, ideally situated for plenty of walks and has a lovely enclosed back garden which is a sun trap. The furniture is a bit low if you have mobility issues but other than that is is superb.

We stayed at Lobster Cottage from the 5th to 12th June 2021 This is a lovely little cottage. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxed weeks holiday

Myself and my husband stayed at lobster cottage for a week with our frenchbulldog.On arrival sue the owner had left a lovely homemade carrot cake also items for hot drinks which was a nice thought.The cottage is in an ideal spot. Parking is very close by 1min walk as are the local shops and pubs which are dog friendly and do lovely meals.The cottage is very homely has everything you need. Nice enclosed patio area for the dog. Plenty of different walks for the dog.Would definitley return to lobster cottage we enjoyed the week as did our dog .

What a lovely cottage in the centre of the village. The cottage is a two bedroom cottage with everything you need. Close to good pubs and a fish and chip shop. Ideal base for walking around Flamborough Head along the cliff tops to see the lighthouse.
