North Moor Farm Cottages - Nightingale

The Flamborough Outer Headlands between Bridlington and Filey offer dramatic coastline, cliff-top paths and working fishing villages. North Moor Farm Cottages – Nightingale is a converted farm building on this stretch, sitting at the end of a country lane with views across open countryside. Original beams, vaulted ceilings and exposed stone remain from its agricultural past. The setting puts you within walking distance of Flamborough Head's lighthouse and the rocky inlets at North and South Landing, where you may spot seals, fishing boats and the local lifeboat.

The cottage has two bedrooms – a double with its own shower room on the first floor, and two singles upstairs – plus a bathroom and ground-floor living space with kitchen. Underfloor heating runs throughout, electricity and wi-fi are included, and there is parking for two cars on site. The kitchen is equipped to cook from scratch, with a dishwasher and washing machine provided. A garden with sitting-out area, furniture and barbecue sits to the rear. One well-behaved pet is welcome.

Within a couple of miles are Bempton Cliffs, an RSPB reserve famous for nesting seabirds, and Flamborough village itself, which has pubs and shops selling local seafood. Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough are all within easy reach by car. The cottage does not permit smoking.
