North Moor Farm Cottages - Swallow

Swallow is a converted farm building on the East Riding coast, standing at the end of a quiet country lane with views across rural land. The entire cottage sits on the ground floor: a living and dining room with TV and DVD player, a kitchen equipped for proper cooking with an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and washing machine, two bedrooms (one double, one with two singles), and two bathrooms including an ensuite. Original beams, vaulted ceilings and exposed stone remain from its agricultural past. Underfloor heating keeps it warm year-round, and the essentials—bed linen, towels, electricity and Wi-Fi—are all provided.

Outside, there's a garden with seating and a barbecue, plus private parking for two cars. The location puts you within reach of Flamborough Head and its lighthouse, with dramatic cliff-top walks leading down to the beaches at South Landing and North Landing. Bempton Cliffs, home to an RSPB nesting colony of puffins and other seabirds, lies two and a half miles away. The village has a pub and restaurant 300 yards off, a shop a mile away, and the larger seaside towns of Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough are within reasonable driving distance. One well-behaved pet is welcome. No smoking inside.
