The Peacock Barn

The Peacock Barn is a ground-floor conversion where you step straight into an open-plan living space. One bedroom has a double bed, the other two singles; a shower room and kitchen complete the layout. Everything sits on a single level, with a courtyard garden and shared barbecue just outside. The barn is one of three adjoining properties on a non-working farm, so you have the whole place to yourself while being part of a small cluster of holiday lets.

A heated swimming pool and hot tub are shared with the other properties and open year-round, along with a games room and gym across the courtyard. Footpaths lead into local farmland and the National Forest; a nature reserve lies less than a mile away. Lichfield, Uttoxeter racecourse, Sudbury Hall and Drayton Manor are all within reach for a day out, and the Peak District is under 20 miles if you want something more dramatic. A pub serving food is half a mile down the road, and shops are a mile away. Wi-Fi is included; pets are welcome. No smoking inside.
