Albion Cottage

Albion Cottage is a Victorian end-terrace property that has been renovated while keeping its traditional character intact. It sits in Pakefield, within easy walking distance of a sandy beach and close to Lowestoft. The cottage is yours alone for the duration of your stay, with two bedrooms—one with a king-size bed and ensuite shower, the other with two singles—plus a second bathroom on the ground floor. Downstairs you'll also find a living room with a woodburner, a separate dining room, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking.

The essentials are covered: electricity, wifi, bed linen and towels are all included, along with the first load of wood for the burner during winter months. Outside, there's an enclosed gravelled courtyard with garden furniture and a barbecue for sitting out. One dog is welcome and comes with extras. There's on-road parking available. The cottage does not permit smoking inside.

The beach is minutes on foot, ideal for swimming, walking and fishing. The Jolly Sailors pub and local shops are roughly 100 yards away. Lowestoft's attractions include its pier, and further afield you can reach the Norfolk Broads, Southwold, Aldeburgh and Dunwich by car. Note that the stairs to the first floor are steep.
