Framlingham Castle, its parkland and lake drawing walkers and wildlife enthusiasts year-round, sits less than a mile away. Aldeburgh's beaches lie 15 miles south; Southwold and its pier 20 miles. The area suits families wanting a base for exploring rural Suffolk, or couples interested in castles, cycling routes and coastal visits.

Courtyard Cottage has two bedrooms—one with a double bed, one with two singles—and one bathroom with a shower over the bath. The ground floor holds a sitting room with Freeview TV and DVD player, plus a kitchen/dining space with an electric oven, gas hob and microwave. A utility room houses the washing machine. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. One car can park on site; a small courtyard with garden furniture provides outdoor space. The property is yours alone. Note that the cottage has open, steep spiral or narrow stairs. One pet is welcome. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available on request. No smoking inside.
