A stellarphotography gem. Higher apartment rooms are better or just a few minutes stroll is the cliff top with near 360 deg views. Remember the sea air can be quite chilly. Apartment 1 was great. Lower than I would have preferred but even in this low season it was all which was available. WiFi didn't seem to be connected to anything so zero internet connection that way but my phone data varied between 4-5g which is plenty for my needs. Some essentials are provided which was lovely. Take aways, convenience stores and so on are a short drive of under 10 mins. Town some half hour walk away which is likely that most pleasant way to get there and avoid parking issues. Heating seemed a little low initially but it soon warmed up. TV worked fine. Nothing high tech about it, normal Freesat offerings. Remote didn't like adjusting the volume so we used the physical buttons on the TV

We know Rocklands well as we had a caravan there but we have never stayed in the apartments. First the view and terrace was stunning inside the apartment was open light and spacious. All the facilities you would need for a stay, sparking clean and very comfortable. Joan is very welcoming and accommodating host. We will definitely be back. The whole site is wonderful with views out to France, it is truly is a gem. Elaine & John

We've been coming to Rockland's for years for family holidays and it's become a home from home for us. Apartments are well equipped and comfortable and nothing is too much effort for the owners. It's a bit of a climb to get to on foot, but you're rewarded by stunning views across the channel and a beautifully tranquil atmosphere. We've had some fantastic times here and look forward to many more.

Just returned from a 3 night stay at Rocklands. The whole experience was faultless! We had a lower floor apartment with a spacious patio area with the most stunning view. The apartment was immaculate like a home from home experience, very comfortable and modern facilities. Complementary tea, coffee and milk for our arrival which was a very nice touch. Joan the owner was very polite and welcoming, she took the time to show us around and was happy to help us with any questions. The apartments are situated in a peaceful location with a beautiful view, perfect for relaxing after a long day. Only a short walk into Hastings town with some more pleaseant views along the way Perfect stay and we would happily stay here again.
