Holiday lodges and caravans at Rye Harbour, near the nature reserve and lifeboat station.
About Rye Harbour Holiday Park
Rye Harbour is a working fishing village on the East Sussex coast, home to the RNLI lifeboat station and a nature reserve that draws birdwatchers and walkers. Rye Harbour Holiday Park sits right in the heart of it, offering caravans and lodges rather than pitch-based camping. The accommodation is modern and well-maintained, with a pool and spa on site and staff described as friendly and attentive. The setting itself is quiet, away from the busier parts of Rye town.
The nature reserve is just a short walk away, and the harbour stores are nearby for basics. The lifeboat station and powerboat training centre are also within easy reach if you want to watch the water. Bear in mind that some advertised features do not always appear as described, so it's worth confirming what you need directly with the site before booking.

What visitors say
I booked a weekend stay at Rye Harbour Caravan Park in April. On arrival I found various cleanliness issues with the caravan. Loose toilet seatwith a hair on it, filthy bin lid, dirty radiators, what looked dried blood on the food bin etc. I called Reception and they sent cleaners to sort out these issues. Once they left, I discovered more issues, filthy oven door, dust covered lamp shades etc. Reception called me the following morning to ask if all was ok. I told them there were further issues but that I didn't want cleaners back as I could live with them and I was out for the day. I detailed these issues (which included a dripping tap) to Reception when I left and at that time also discovered that I should have been given a Welcome Pack and Bin Liners. I was told to contact Head Office when I asked for a refund which I did and they referred me back to Rye Harbour. After e.mails backwards and forwards, I was eventually offered a 15% off voucher for a future stay. I already had a voucher for 15% off which was in the information pack in the caravan but when I looked at it closer, it did say in really tiny print at the bottom that it would have to be used during my stay or within 14 days. This whole operation is unprofessional and inefficient. I paid for a clean caravan and a Welcome Pack, neither of which I received.

Rye harbour,Caravan was clean and tidy Caravan was clean and tidy, thanks to Ruth who cleaned it before we arrived, Taya who dealt with us in reception who was very kind and helpful, plus Dan the manager who took the time to ring me in the evening to make sure i was ok after hurting myself during my stay, all members of staff that we dealt with were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our holiday so much at Rye that we are coming back in June. Thank you Park Holidays and keep up the good work. Clive and Julie.

Well where to start. This site is fabulous, the staff are brilliant, thorough and attentive. We are moving from another site which is poles apart from Rye Harbour. Emily, Katie and Dan are so professional and kind they made buying a caravan a breeze. We cannot wait to be on site and enjoying the 5 star pool and spa and the beautiful bar and restaurant which is dog friendly. A shout out to all staff on site who are as friendly, always smiling and so helpful. What a fabulous park and a massive breath of fresh air that there is professional and friendly beautiful people out there. Well done to you all. 👏
