What visitors say
We stayed at Bramley Park Camping from Friday evening through to Sunday morning and had such a fantastic experience that we’re already planning our next visit. The pitches are wonderfully flat, spacious, and there are no restrictive size limits, which made setting up stress-free. The views across the South Downs are absolutely stunning and provide the perfect backdrop for a relaxing weekend away. The site is incredibly dog-friendly, which was a huge plus for us, and the staff genuinely make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Lucy and Tom were particularly outstanding - friendly, approachable, and always happy to help with anything we needed. The facilities were excellent. The shower blocks were clean, with great water pressure and consistent hot water - something that isn’t always guaranteed when camping! The onsite shop was brilliantly stocked with both essentials and those little items you inevitably forget to pack. One of the highlights of our stay was the food. The onsite pizzas were absolutely superb and well worth trying. We were also delighted by the range of drinks available, including beers from Long Man Brewery. The NEIPA was particularly delicious and went down perfectly while enjoying the evening views. The location is ideal. Not only is it perfectly placed for exploring the South Downs and Eastbourne, but Brighton and Hastings are both within easy reach, making it a fantastic base for exploring the wider area. Bramley Park Camping has struck that rare balance between excellent facilities, a relaxed atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and genuinely welcoming staff. We will definitely be returning again and again, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a camping getaway in Sussex.

The biggest plus for this campsite is the very tireless hard working and friendly staff. Boy I don’t know how the staff all stay so super calm when dealing with the breakfast rush. Everyone was really nice and we saw the toilets getting inspected and cleaned by staff on a really regular basis. The onsite shop is a fantastic touch with cold drinks (inc booze) and things to keep the kids busy like outdoor games and ice creams. Toilets and showers are as you’d expect for a campsite and a good deal nicer than a festival! The surroundings are beautiful and we had a lovely walk one day. Most of the time we just enjoyed the peaceful campsite and beautiful surroundings in the shade of our gazebo.

Had an amazing weekend down at Bramley Park Camping in Polegate. The campsite is very handy to get to with or without a car. We sadly don't have one so took the train from Victoria but it is an easy walk from Polegate. Lots to see and do near the camp site. We headed out to see the Long Man of Wilmington which is about a 90 min walk through rolling hills but there is also a vineyard not far away too. On site the facilities are great, clean showers and toilets, you get pizza and also breakfast too. We loved it. To top it off we were in a rush after returning from Eastbourne and the owner Harry very kindly gave us a lift to the station and helped pack up our tent. Without him we would have missed the train - thank you so much! We will definitely be back.

Really great campsite! Perfect location for walking the Seven Sisters. Clean loos and hot showers, plus lots of room to pitch where you like on the site. We loved watching the sunset over the downs in the evening. Pizzas were great for the first night after setting up the tent and we were even able to grab some essential camping bits from the onsite reception/shop. Will be back! Thanks 😀
