Bay View Holiday Park occupies a shingle seafront position at Pevensey Bay, a small coastal village between Eastbourne and Bexhill, with direct beach access from the site. It is set up mainly for touring caravans and motorhomes, with electric hook-up pitches arranged close to the shore, and makes an easy base for exploring both Eastbourne and the Pevensey Levels inland.
On-site facilities include modern shower and toilet blocks, a laundry, and a small shop for basics, while the village of Pevensey Bay itself has a pub and a handful of shops within walking distance. Pevensey Castle, a Roman and Norman fortification, is a short drive away and makes a good half-day trip alongside the beach itself.
The park's flat, coastal setting suits caravans and motorhomes better than large family tents, and its position right on the shingle means it can feel exposed in windy weather, though this also brings some of the best sea views of any site in the area. Eastbourne's seafront and marina are a straightforward ten-minute drive along the coast road.
