What visitors say
Wow, it was a great and nice experience. It was out first caravan park holiday and the arrangement, facility and the caravan has been a great experience. The caravans are well equipped from essential cooking utensils, beds, central gas heatings, 24 hour warm water, parking space of your own but above all the peace and silence away from a busy city life adorned with star dotted blue skies. Internet was little issue on day one, but was quickly sorted by the park staff and it was never and issue there after. Ample open space. You wake up amongst the nature with chirps from the sparrows (rare to get in city life) and the beauty of dove's coo. Enough space and opportunity for kids and youngsters to spend their lazy time in bikes, swimming pool or adults to spend time around the sea. Loved it and will recommend.

this is a great caravan site but there is no on site shop and the nearest is 12 mins away. the arcades only take card which was a little annoying and there isn’t much to do as there was a little park and the swimming pool was broken the days i was there. the cleanliness was amazing and i felt comfortable in the caravan but i would not come back again because it was quite boring.

We stayed at Steeplebay Caravan Park for 3 nights and had a great time. The park was lovely, clean and in a great location. The only small issue we had was on the first night when we suddenly had no hot water. We checked the boiler and everything looked fine, but then realised there was no gas bottle outside 😀 We went to the clubhouse around 11pm and the staff sorted it out straight away and replaced the gas bottle very quickly. Great customer service and really helpful guys. Thank you again — definitely 5 stars from us ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Lovely family holiday booked with sun holidays so good price. Sadly we arrived early and caravan wasn't ready. Then at check in time 4pm caravan still not ready took another hour before we could get in caravan, doing last minute checks. Caravan lovely new style which we dont normally get due to having the dog. Heating and water was beautifully hot. Site was clean and tidy, looked like clubhouse had been upgraded. Staff lovely and helpful seemed to do everything mucking in together. Arcade was small but ok. Entertainment on an evening for the youngest daughter was good, Josh they Entertainment guy was great and had making pottery, easter hats, teddy's etc in clubhouse from 10am for young ones. Bingo for adults, darts and pool table. Lovely walk along the front with the dog. There could be a bit more onside for older kids/family did have the 4 people karts. Shop was well stocked. Would visit again, not much around area clacton pier 1 hr away.
