This is no reflection on the staff or facilities at this location, but as I can't leave a review for LED and their policies in general, I'm forced to put it here. I will state that I do not want to cancel my membership and I find the staff and facilities great. However, their total lack of flexibility around membership is not OK, especially given the price. For instance, to cancel it can take almost two month's (1 month notice + a billed month) depending on when you happen to put the notice in. They also don't allow you to pause your membership unless you submit medical evidence to them, all very 1984! Compared to other gym memberships.

What can I say about LED Exmouth that is positive? The simple answer is nothing. My partner and I pay £40 a month each to play Badminton. The membership leaves you no option other than to pay for the Gym, which neither of us are interested in. So what exactly do we get for our money? Constant closures of the courts with no notice, equipment that Exmouth Tip would be embarrassed to try selling. I must have complained about the state of nets 6 or 7 times. One of the posts stands at a 60° angle. It’s an absolute joke. To add insult to injury, we brought my girlfriend’s son along tonight and got charged £7 despite providing all our own equipment. As is often the case, despite booking in advance, the court wasn’t set up and we had to do this ourselves as usual, untangling what passes for a net. I’d give this place zero stars if the option was available. What a joke. We’re currently looking for somewhere we can play if anyone has any suggestions.

Booked a bounce party, conflicting information regarding facilities and food. Very confusing guidelines about food and the extra paid for room in the deal which is only included if you book their food - I did double check by phone if we could take our own and was told we could - then was told this was not the case and we were too late to book. Then told we could have a room for cake and drink. When we came to the party venue the castle was being inflated, no attendee as it states there would be, no chairs, no crash mats. We found mats and put out ourselves and obtained chairs. Drinks came in the end as children were parched and then were told there was no extra room, just the one we were in. A chap came to deflate castle, said get them off I’m putting it down, he then proceeded to do so before we had chance to check all children were off. Absolutely awful service and such a disappointment, terrible customer service and health and safety issues.

Awful customer service for child's birthday party. No health and safety. Rude and miserable staff. No crash mats around bouncy castle - we had to do ourselves, no drinks given to overheating toddlers until the very end after asking multiple times and eventually going to the shop to buy our own, no chairs given, the man that came to put the bouncy castle down said very sternly "get them off I'm putting it down" and proceeded to do so before children had a chance to get off. Conflicting information given to each person that spoke to the SAME member of staff, no staff came to check on how the party was or to supervise - no smile to my child or a "happy birthday".
