About St Andrews Holiday Estate (Nydie Caravan And Camping Site)

St Andrews Holiday Estate is a 22-pitch campsite on the outskirts of St Andrews in Fife. It is small enough to feel quiet and unhurried, even during peak season, as pitches often remain available when other local sites are booked solid. The site has showers on site.

The location puts St Andrews town centre within reach for exploring the university, beaches and coastal walks, while keeping the campsite itself in countryside surroundings. The modest scale makes it a straightforward choice if you want to visit the area without the atmosphere of a larger holiday park.

Our family stayed at the estate last week. The lodges are beautiful and very modern. We booked the facilities for an hour. With this, you have access to the outdoor swim pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, and gym. These bonus bits are kept immaculate thanks to Paul. 🙌 So save your pennies and book a lodge, you won't be disappointed.

It is a really great campsite with an amazing coffee hut that does some hot food too. St Andrews is only a 12 minute drive and there is a great tavern just a 20 minute walk away. Will most definitely be back here again. Only downside is the military aircraft waking you up during the night but that is out of the campsites hands. Great showers and toilets, cleaned regularly

Good place for camping, play area for kids, goal posts with nets in place, part time shop onsite. A bit of a slope for tents but, flat where we were. Toilets and showers, at no extra charge. Ample pitches for big tents with car.

Stayed for two nights in the 'PodWam'. Cosy and comfortable, great for bikes or as an alternative to camping for one or two nights. The owner of the campsite was extremely friendly and helpful. This made our stay very enjoyable. The facilities are good and well kept although may get busy at peak times. A lovely, relaxed, family friendly campsite. Would recommend if you're looking to visit St Andrews and the surrounding area if you have a car!
