Comfortable shepherds hut (Clova) with everything provided for a great break (designed for two people) from home. Was bigger and better than it looked on the photos, with a full sized fridge and sink, a two ring hob, combo microwave and all cooking and dining utensils provided. The bed was huge and comfortable. The bathroom was a good size with a big shower in it & clean white towels provided. Outside was private with a little table and chairs. We loved it here and will return. I come to this area monthly and stay with relatives, but this was my first time making it into a mini holiday also, and highly recommended. The warden was a lovely lady who was polite, chatty, and very helpful. We dined at Sinclairs Kitchen at the top of the site, and had a very nice meal there.

Beautiful spotless site close enough to forfar but far enough to offer rural tranquility. Linda was very customer focused and considered our needs fully before allocating us a pitch that was perfect 😍. The site is meticulously maintained to a superior standard and the facikities are fantastic from immaculate showers to a laundry with an array of books to choose from to pass the time, theres even a washing line with pegs, which is one of the things I always admire as I love to hang my washing out 😊 There is a restaurant with a bar that offers outside dining too. The pitches are very well thought out with plenty space and some have a privacy hedge too. There is an array of birdies to be heard singing and of course amazing owls to hoot the night away with you. I even seen an Osprey which is most likely one of the breeding pair from Balgavies nature reserve close by. Whats not to love 🫶 we will definitely be back 🏴

Loved our night here and wish we had more time. Friendly welcome. Large pitches. Loads of room and grassy areas. Good clean toilet blocks with hot showers. Two laundry room that are not overpriced. 3 mile cycle to Forfar.

Fantastic place. Adult only which is ideal for us. Very friendly welcome on arrival and everything explained. Restaurant very close by, as in a 2 minute walk, short walk around the site was lovely to stretch our legs. Very well signposted. Shower/toilet block was spotless. Shower was very very powerful, didn't warm up for me but did the job. Fully serviced pitches are fantastic and we got to pick our own spot which was really nice. Camping section. Shepherds huts available to hire too. Really lovely site and would recommend.
