Commonside Cottage is a ground-floor bungalow where you step straight into a living room with a wood burner, smart TV, and easy access to every room. The layout keeps things simple: two bedrooms (one with a zip-and-link super king that splits into singles, one with a double), a bathroom with bath and shower, a separate dining room, conservatory, and a kitchen with a full oven, hob, microwave and washing machine. Everything you need is on one level, which suits families or those who prefer not to manage stairs. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included, as is the first load of fuel for the wood burner.

The cottage sits in Ansdell village, positioned between the promenades of Lytham and St Annes. You have private parking for two cars and an enclosed garden with furniture. The Co-op on Woodlands Road is nearby for essentials. Ansdell itself has a train station within walking distance, and Fairhaven Golf Course is also close by if that matters to you. The beaches of St Annes lie a couple of miles away; Lytham's shops and restaurants are about a mile off. Blackpool is further afield for a day out. No smoking inside.
