Fairhaven sits on the Fylde coast between Lytham and St Annes, close enough to their promenades and restaurants but quieter. Ivy House is a semi-detached cottage on a residential street here, sleeping five across three bedrooms—a super king, two singles, and a single. Two bathrooms serve the property, and the ground floor has a living room with Freeview Smart TV and DVD player, a separate dining room, and a kitchen with electric oven, dishwasher and microwave for everyday cooking. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included; one well-behaved dog stays free of charge.

The enclosed garden has a lawn and seating area, and there is parking for two cars on site. Fairhaven Lake is a short walk away, with tennis courts, boat hire, a café and an RSPB discovery centre. The seafront, beach and coastal paths are nearby. Four 18-hole golf courses lie within a short drive. Blackpool is roughly eight miles; the Lake District about an hour. Shops are half a mile away, pubs and restaurants within a mile. No smoking indoors.
