Gairloch Caravan and Camping Site

We were a walk in (drive in) and were made very welcome. We were given a seaview pitch and the views are amazing. The showers and loos are immaculate. The whole site is very well cared for. Great wifi too. Its been my favourite one our NC500 trip. We are already planning to return for a longer stay.

Stayed at the Gairloch Holiday Park overnight in our campervan with an electric hook up. Had a great stay with an amazing view of snow-capped mountains over the bay. The facilities were great and the showers seemed quite new and in good condition with a seperate changing area in the shower. Was recommended at reception to check out the 'Milly bar' for a drink and a meal - great curry and worth going if staying as it is just outside the park.

This campsite is just up a short steep hill from the village just after the pub. I booked by email and received a propmpt and courteous reply. I also informed them I would be arriving late and they left instructions for me. Don't be fooled into thinking there is only one toilet cubicle in the shower block as there is another block next door. There is a handy shelter area with microwave and kettle plus charger points and two picnic benches. There was a separate laundry Hidden behind the shower block and a very useful washing line.

Touring van stopover, booked for 2 nights, stayed for 4 nights was so good. Chris the manager was great, very helpful. Site was superb, get a beach view, sunsets amazing. Facilities were great, location brilliant. So much to do in the area. Will be back!
