We had a fantastic stay at Sands Caravan & Camping and couldn’t recommend it highly enough. It was an excellent choice for a relaxing family camping trip. The facilities were exceptional — everything was clean, well-maintained and clearly looked after. The toilets and bathrooms were spotless, which made such a difference during our stay. There was also a great children’s play area, giving the little ones plenty of space to have fun. There was ample space around the campsite, making it feel comfortable and uncrowded. But the absolute highlight for us was the location — being right next to the beach was simply perfect! Overall, a wonderful campsite with fantastic facilities and an unbeatable location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again!

We stayed here 3 nights. We found a pitch ontop of a dune, a bit secluded and with direct access to the beach. We enjoyed our stay a lot! Careful! There can be a lot of midges :) but we were well prepped for that ;) The toilet house was clean, looked pretty new and had hot water. It also had a hairdryer which was perfect since the wind could be quite cool outside if you had wet hair ;) There was also a washstation for cuttlery and such plus a drinkingwater hose. The staff at the entrance was nice. You have to find your own spot, so if it is busy it might be a bit challenging. It was also quite helpful that they have a shop with a wide range of products in case you forgot something :) The Barn Café was quite nice too. We reserved a dinnertable and the food was good. Next to the campsite you find two trails, a longer (2h) and shorter one (30min) with nice views of the campsite and highland nature. Thank you for having us!

I feel spoilt going to this campsite, I feel it may have ruined other campsites for me. The facilities are always so clean and well stocked, the bins on site are emptied regularly so there is never a mess. The site itself is well kept, grass is always tended and always support when you need it. Access to the beach is unreal, it's so beautiful and when the tide is out you have a HUGE amount of beach to enjoy. The shop is amazing, breakfast in the morning with warm baked goods is always a highlight. Cannot recommend this site more for anyone looking to camp, caravan, or book a wigwam.

One of, if not the best caravan site that we have stayed at. Ablution block is outstanding, there is even a bath! Views are phenomenal and even though it's a large site, its not noticeably busy. Shop is exceptional , there is a games room with pool, air hockey, bar football, and table tennis, along with a seating area and tv. Didn't eat here (this time) but plan to next time. Short walk to an amazing bea h, white sand and clear water. Wat h out for the jellyfish though. Wonderful place
