Just stayed 3 days on this great campsite . Easy booking on line .emailed Jacinta and she explains how to book and pay. The site is right on the beach front and what a wonderful beach it is .the amenities are spotlessly clean . Pitches are not all on top of each other like some sites. I had read the reviews and thought will I or won’t I book but hey I am so glad we did no problems whatsoever. If you abide by the rules not like some we see washing there clothes in the kitchen sink where it’s just for washing up your cooking dishes you can see why the owner would go mad at this carry on . They have cameras as the actual site is down a hill away from their house and they can’t see the site from there so that’s the reason for the cameras .2 euro for 5 mins showers and get your tokens in the reception when you arrive . Would most definitely stay here again

Wonderful experience, Jacintha was very helpful in making the reservation for me. Camped in a tent. Location is great, private access to the beach and within a 10 minute drive of lots of amenities. The lady at check in was very kind and helpful. Toilets were spotless and shower was great. Would absolutely recommend, will hopefully return again this year.

Avoid. I phoned 5 times and got no answer so had to fill in a form online. When I got to the campsite the 2 incredibly miserable old women behind the reception desk said they sent an email denying the booking as there was a thunderstorm coming this evening (which never arrived) so it was too dangerous to camp. Travelled 4 hours to get here. How this business is still open is beyond me. Lucky escape, There is a fabulous campsite 8 minutes away from here Connemara Camping.

Beware the angry woman who watches her guests on CCTV, then storms out and rudely confronts any apparent misdemeanor! Our crime was driving the wrong way on the one way system. Our lovely Dutch neighbours were rudely told off for socialising in the kitchen with some other guests. All spotted on CCTV! A pity as its a lovely site.
