I booked here for my 30th birthday! It was absolutely perfect for the occasion. The space in the kitchen area was more than enough for our charcuterie board and singer for entertainment. The hallway was perfect for games and the living room was the quiet space the older family and friends needed. Still close enough to dip into the main party room if needed. There’s large fridge area, cooking facilities, hob and ovens if required. It’s modern and beautifully decorated. I had 17 guests stays and there was soooo much more room in the bedrooms for others had I of needed it. Small kids were in bed earlier and heard nothing! Check in was straight forward and sent on email! Easy to get the key from instructions and use the appliances. The school house was warm and cosy. Literally the perfect location for a celebration and family gathering.

We booked this property through Airbnb for the number of guests it advertised it could accommodate. At the time of booking, we saw that pets were not allowed. However, when we later checked the property’s website for more photos, it mentioned that assistance dogs may be allowed. Based on that, we reached out to ask for clarification, as my mum has a therapy dog. Unfortunately, the response we received from Charlotte was extremely rude, even stating “please don’t ask again,” which felt completely unnecessary given we were only asking based on the information provided. Beyond the poor communication, we also experienced several issues during our stay. The labels on the cooking appliances were incorrect (for example, the hob was labelled as the oven), which made things unnecessarily confusing. Some of the bunk beds were rusty, and several members of our group didn’t feel safe sleeping on the top bunks due to concerns about durability. Many of the beds were also very small and not suitable for adults. The worst part of our experience was at checkout. We were told to leave by 11am, and although we had already cleaned up and were just a few minutes past 11 while loading our cars, a group of cleaners came in aggressively and began shouting at us. One of them even threw a child’s power bank across the hallway. The situation could have been handled politely—we only needed a few extra minutes. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience due to both the condition of the property and the extremely unprofessional behaviour we encountered. We would not return and would not recommend this place to others

We've been to carrowmena glamping site four times now, never disappoints. They operate on a lock box now, which i thought was handy this time. There wasn't any staff on site this time but there were numbers to call if needed.

My daughter and I had our first ever camping trip together here, we met up with friends who also stayed. There is loads to do and plenty of room for the kids to run around safely as no cars can get where the kids play. I didn't hear once the dreaded words "I am bored"!! We did the half day package of wall climbing, zip line and archery which we all enjoyed. All the staff are very welcoming and go above and beyond, they couldn't have done more for us, so much so we came home and started planning our next stay there!
