What visitors say
We stayed for 3 nights in our campervan with our two dogs and had a fantastic experience. Richard, the manager, was super friendly and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The facilities really stood out — the separate modern bathrooms gave a real home-from-home feel, and the whole site was immaculate and very well maintained. We also appreciated the thoughtful extras like the microwave, fridge freezer, and indoor kitchen sinks. The pricing was very competitive, and the central location meant all amenities were just minutes away, with a great selection of pubs, eating places, and lovely walks nearby. Highly recommended!

Lovely, dog-friendly campsite that certainly does have an immaculate shower block. Richard, the warden, was very welcoming, helpful, and attentive. It's a short walk to the pubs, cafes, and restaurants, and there are great parks for the kids and long walks in the forest. Beautiful town. We will definitely go back.

This site was a great find. The Facilities are excellent, our hard standing pitch had water and ehu. The site manager was very helpful and offered advice on the local area. The kitchen facilities (pot wash) were first class with washing machines and fridge should you need them. The showers and toilets were in great condition and spotless. There were numerous cafes and pubs in the town with lots of local walks. We will be back !!!

Fabulous 2 night stay in our motorhome. Pretty village with nice walks and great base for exploring further afield. The warden (Richard) was very friendly and helpful. The toilets and shower block were immaculate as was the laundry area. Would highly recommend.
