What visitors say
Perfect small campsite with open views from the brow of the hill. We stayed with our big 2.5m wide x8m long caravan on the well kept hard stands . The grass pitches were very generous in size and well maintained too. Fantastic friendly welcome . Lots of info on the surrounding area walks etc. The Toilet/shower building was exceptional, modern and spotless. One of the best. I've seen in a long time. Good hot showers☺️ . Very good washing up area that is indoors. We loved our stay! Thank you. If you are arriving with a big unit, take time to read the very good suggested approach routes that are detailed on the website. Some of the routes up from Lydney can be tight and are not the best. We followed the route in via Viney Hill no problems. The last short bit down the final approach road is single track but with good views of oncoming traffic and is quiet and perfectly do-able.

Lovely spot just up the hill from Lydney. Small site (21 pitches) that was nice and quiet. Fire pit hire with kindling and logs, and a small shop in reception. Toilets and showers are immaculate and the site itself is also extremely well maintained. Good walking and cycling on the doorstep so no need to drive anywhere once you're set up.

Brilliant family campsite. We stayed in a tent so had a simple grass pitch. Slightly sloping but not an issue if you think about tent placement. Beautiful setting. Convenient short drive to amenities and a small onsite shop. Immaculate wash facilities with decent hot water. Jess was super helpful throughout. 15 min on road ride to Mallards pike where the Collier's trail be accessed.
