A follow up to the previous review - As promised, we did go back and this time stayed for a week. It is without doubt one of the top CLs we have stayed and and one of very few that we have returned to. It has everything that is needed for a quiet, relaxing stay and as an added boneus, Becky turned up with a delicious loaf of home baked bread! We'll be back again, I'm sure. Original review below: We only stayed one night, but can say we'll be back! It is a perfect example of a CL and sites like this are why we keep our CAMC membership. Huge amount of space, all pitches fully serviced with reinforcement under the grass so they can be used for most of the year - and a couple of hardstandings for when it gets too wet. Becky goes above and beyond what is expected - for example, there was a short term road closure in the village and she called me to advise this would affect our journey and offerred help with alternative routes. Although it looks to be close to a main road, it is set well back and there is no traffic noise. The actual approach is narrow, but we managed a 7 metre twin axle caravan behnd a 5 metre long SUV without any problems. There is much to do within easy reach as well - or just chill and enjoy. And free, reliable and fast WiFi on top

On our way home from the most lovely stay at Magnolia Pitches. This is our third stay, as it is our favourite CL. This visit did not disappoint. Becky & Paul keep this site immaculately clean and tidy. Becky is a perfect host, so welcoming & friendly. She even baked us a loaf of bread as a returning guest. There are lots of lovely & interesting places to visit in the surrounding areas. We have also thoroughly enjoyed relaxing on the peaceful site , watching the birds and rabbits. Perfect for dogs too, with a discreet doggy area at the bottom end of the site. Thank you Rebecca & Paul 😊

We wanted to “get away”, so we visited 8 CLs over a weekend to determine which one(s) we wanted to stay at. This was made easier as we were looking at CLs located not that far from home. Magnolia Pitches came out as a definitive favourite and lived up to the reviews. The welcome we received from Becky and Paul was lovely. They were highly informative explaining everything that we needed to know about the site. All services provided are all “top notch”. 16amp electric, water to each pitch, a recycling box, and the entire site is well maintained, tidy and well thought out. Access to the site is via wide electric gates, locked on an evening, but controlled with a “bleeper” provided for the duration of your stay. The site is extremely easy to find, easily accessed for us from the M50 and then a straight run to the site. We have a larger caravan, but access to the road leading to the site was not a problem, with the site being a noticeably short distance away from the main road. Despite being conveniently close to the road for access, the site itself is located at the rear of the property, away from the road and is very peaceful. The site is very centrally located, with a good road network in all directions, and numerous places to visit, catering for the needs of everyone. The countryside around is beautiful, and the local towns very quaint. There is a myriad of pubs to eat out without having to go too far. There is a very well stocked shop in the village which is open until 10pm, and a local community hub located in an old pub. The site is professionally run; they have a particularly good website where you can read more about the site. Your booking is conducted online, it is amazingly easy to choose a pitch, to see availability, and all communication was exemplary. Electricity is charged for separately with a bill printed out and explained at the end of your stay. We were pleasantly surprised at how little the electricity cost. All pitches are well spaced out, with all the recycling, and toilet emptying point hidden behind a fenced screen. Our connector to the tap was dripping. Paul noticed this and took our connector away to try and repair it and provided an alternative, (“Mr Fixit!!”). We feel that there was nothing that Becky and Paul wouldn’t have helped with. We will be returning. D & J

Had a wonderful weekend at this excellent CL. The site is very well maintained and having a serviced pitch with water is a real advantage. Becky and her husband were super friendly and made sure that everything was okay for us as well as giving great recommendations of what to see and do in the area. We will definitely go back.
