i will forever give this campsite a 5* review. my partner and i have been going to rough ground farm for 10+ years. its easy to get to, patrick, his wife and the warden are friendly to speak to and very welcoming. it's a simple campsite with toilets and shower facilities but to be honest this is all we need. there is a nature reserve and an allotment which you can walk around. we've been coming here since my step children were under ten and now our children love it too. prices are affordable. a few years back when the summer was so so hot we ended out stay by a day and patrick was very happy to keep that for out next return. there is a washing machine you can use especially if you are staying a full week with kids. its brilliant. i have no complaints. keep it going patrick and family and we'll see you end of august bank hol. thank you

Amazing campsite, it was our first time staying but definitely not the last! Has everything you could expect from a campsite. Pat and his wife are a very nice people. Loads of friendly campers. Highly recommended 5*

Really lovely quiet campsite. We stayed Sunday to Friday and there were only 6/7 other campers staying in the field. Great facilities, including shower, toilet block, washing up area and also a washing machine. Lovely setting, there is a woodland that they planted in 1999. Which you can walk around and enjoy. Patrick is very friendly and made us feel very welcome. We will be back!

A lovely campsite. We met a very pleasant gentleman called Patrick who was super friendly and very helpful. My friend's electric hookup lead wasn't long enough to reach the point and he gladly brought us out an extension. A nice straightforward, simple campsite with decent facilities and well in range for Fairford RAF base and the lovely town of Lechlade.
