Had a lovely time at this great little site. Pitches are a very generous size and grass is kept short. Toilets and showers kept clean and are a good size. Makes a nice change, not having to squeeze past the toilet roll holder to shut the door. Hand sanitiser at entrance to block, and inside washrooms/showers as well as hot water and soap. Paper towels supplied. Plenty of bins for recycling. Very friendly owners. Lots of places to go walking and sightseeing, without having to spend a fortune.

The campsite was lovely, with friendly owners and clean facilities. We could choose our own pitch anywhere on the field as long as we were 6 meters away from the next people, which when the site was busy was a problem and the lack of defined "pitch" meant we had families walking through our patch to get to the horses, even though there was plenty of room for them to walk around. This is probably more of a reflection of the family than the campsite but it did have an impact on our experience.

An exceptional camp site. Adrian and Margaret are very welcoming, warm and friendly. Adrian not only suggested a pub with good food but kindly drove us there too. That level of kindness is rare but remembered. The camp site offers two fields for camping with electric hook up on many of the pitches. The chickens are unusual breeds and are free to roam around but don't cause any issues. There are several horses in the neighbouring field that are used to pull a carriage used for weddings and funerals. There are plenty of level camping spots but some are slightly sloping. The facilities are superb. A log cabin houses numerous showers, toilets and washing up area. The showers are the best I've seen on any camp site and are powerful and free. There's even radiators for the cooler months. I can't rate this site highly enough. Many thanks to you both. I'll be back soon!

Just stayed here for the weekend, the site was very peaceful, showers & washroom kept spotless. There's a main road nearby, however it didn't disturb our sleep at all. Coleford is a short walk with lots of useful shops, pubs & places to get food.
