The Stables Tearoom at Carlton Towers Vineyard

Absolutely amazing place!! Food was spectacular - from the most spongy wholesome bagel, to the amazing tasting scone and jam to the sparkling wine made at the vineyard which we sat out in and looked out at. Staff were so pleasant and helpful. Lovely place!

A beautiful location, but sadly disappointing. Ten minutes for our order to be taken despite 3 people behind the counter. The cafe is picturesque in such lovely grounds, but when we entered 3 tables were still covered in cups from earlier customers and weren't cleared even when we left. Toilets were dirty with paper and water all over the floor. We attended at an evening event so not sure if this was different to day time hours.coffees were lovely and the girl who eventually served us was very sweet, but I wouldn't seek this cafe out based on our experience. :( Hate leaving low star reviews and hope this was a one off!

Outstanding surroundings and welcoming staff. We had afternoon tea as a birthday gift. The finger sandwiches were freshly prepared by the in-house chefs and were of high standard, which included salmon ham & cheese. As well as freshly made scones with ham & clotted cream, there were a selection of handcrafted cakes with fresh fruit & macarons. Great served with Earl Grey.

We stop off on our way to York. Carlton Towers cafe was excellent, the service was attentive and without fault. Lovely people. The food was was prepared and tasted wonderful. Thank you well visit again
