About Camping and Caravanning Club Site, Farnham
Set among mature trees on the Surrey side of the Hampshire border, this long-running Camping and Caravanning Club site offers hardstanding and grass pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, most with electric hook-up. The facilities are maintained to the club's reliable standard, with showers, toilets and a small shop on site, and there's a playground for younger children. Dogs are welcome on leads.
The surrounding landscape mixes heath, pine woodland and farmland typical of the area, with Alice Holt Forest nearby and historic Farnham – with its castle and Georgian streets – an easy drive. The site sits around nine miles from Guildford along the A31 and A3, making it a practical base for exploring the wider Surrey Hills. The gently sloping ground drains well even after rain, though the setting can feel functional rather than scenic, and some visitors find the pitches a little close together during busier periods.

What visitors say
We had such a lovely stay at waggoners. The site was clean, well maintained, and had a really friendly atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The facilities were spotless and everything felt very relaxed and family friendly. Perfect location — peaceful, scenic, and beautifully back to nature. Surrounded by greenery and lovely woodland walks, right on the north downs way. it’s a great place to switch off and unwind. My boys loved waking up to birdsong and spending evenings running free and climbing the sand dune. They also were so excited to see the ice cream van turn up both nights we stayed. The campsite has a really thoughtful eco-conscious feel, which we really appreciated. It’s clear a lot of care goes into looking after both the site and the natural environment around it. Sonja the site manager was always happy to help, which made the stay even better. We especially loved the spacious pitches and peaceful atmosphere. It’s the kind of place you instantly feel comfortable in. We’ll definitely be returning and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in nature 😍

What a gem it is! Only a bit more than half an hour from us! But such an escape to nature! We loved forest shower! There is something to it when you see trees above you and hear birds while showering! Cold water - is absolutely fine too! And their eco soap smells lovely! Not a massive field but also not packed! We had a lovely corner spot near trees which gave us shade in the heat. It is also absolutely amazing that they have fire pits! Sonja was very welcoming and helpful, also shared the relaxed vibe everyone seeks when camping! It was very calm and nice! We will definitely be back at some point as We haven’t done all the beautiful walks available from the campsite, and didn’t try the sauna! Thank you very much! 🙏

Lovely campsite, loved all the little attentions to detail & eco touches. Immediately responsive to my text about arriving/booking late. Will definitely be back to explore th surrounding area, looks like there’s lots of lovely walks. A bonus to be able ealk through the woods to a beautiful sauna in the morning! Thank you 🙏

Just arrived home after a great night at Waggoners. I was camping with my four year old for the first time, and couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to camping. The location was perfect; close to home but also tucked away enough to feel peaceful. My son loved exploring the woods and sandcastle. Sonja made us feel very welcome on arrival, and we were glad we had booked a fire pit to cook our dinner and toast marshmallows. We had a great time and will hopefully be back in the not too distant future!
