About Bwlch Gwyn Farm Caravan Park & Pony Trekking Centre

Bwlch Gwyn Farm Caravan Park is a working pony trekking centre with caravanning pitches and proper shower facilities. The shower block is well-maintained with adjustable hot water, and staff are known for being helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The site sits on high ground with views across the estuary towards Barmouth and out to sea.

The pony trekking centre operates from the farm, so there is activity on site beyond the pitches themselves. Beautiful place, with absolutely the best views. You can see straight across to Barmouth beach. The sun sets are out of this world. Toilets clean and tidy, hot power showers. Be prepared though the road up to reception and then to your pitch are quite steep. You soon get used to it and well worth it. Fairbourne is 3 mins down the road, it has a mini mart, kebab shop (expensive) and a brilliant chippy which is cheap for a chippy and really nice food. The staff are very helpful and the residents in the caravan are very friendly. Highly recommend this place ❤️

A lovely holiday in this lovely well equipped cottage. It was comfortable and the so we're the beds. We enjoyed a trek out. It was my 3year old grandsons first time on a pony and he loved it. The Indian in Fairbourne is very nice. We took the little train and then the ferry over to Barmouth. We loved every minute of our stay.

Amazing views especially at Sunset. Lovely clean facilities & friendly, helpful staff. Peaceful & quiet on a night time. We've just booked to go back a 2nd time this summer. Fantastic Riding School (across the road) offering beginner hacks down to the beach. which my little boy throughly enjoyed & he"s now addicted to horses & taking lessons! Can't wait to return this summer 🌞

Loved this site we were right at the top a bit of a steep walk back to it but worth the views and my dog was ok because no noises late. Showers and toilets plenty and clean. We walked to Barnmouth and back, Fairbourne is a mile away for a pub, there is a footpath but you need a walking app, as the path isn't used a lot.
