Aberlovely Holidays - Pebble Cottage

Aberdovey clings to the Cardigan Bay shoreline as a working fishing village of painted houses and golden sand, backed by Snowdonia's southern edge. The Vale of Rheidol Railway, Talyllyn Railway and various craft attractions lie within reach for rainy days, though most visitors come for the water—sailing, windsurfing, fishing—or the walking that radiates inland from the coast. An 18-hole golf course sits at the village's western end.

Pebble Cottage stands a hundred yards from the beach, built as a fisherman's home and now a one-bedroom property sleeping two. Ground floor holds an open-plan living space with a woodburner, dining area and kitchen equipped for proper cooking; a shower room sits alongside. Upstairs is a bedroom with a kingsize bed and its own TV. The essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi—are covered, and initial logs for the fire are provided. A separate rear garden, accessed via a path around the cottage, has a BBQ and seating; on-street parking is available, plus a permit for one space in the public car parks. A single dog travels free. Smoking is not permitted inside.

The village shop, restaurants and a pub all sit within three hundred yards. This works as both a base for exploring Snowdonia's walking routes and a straightforward seaside break.
