You'll step into a sympathetic conversion of what was once a preacher's home, connected to a 19th-century chapel. The ground floor opens with a living room where a wood burner keeps things warm on colder evenings, along with central heating throughout. The kitchen has what you need to cook properly: electric oven and hob, dishwasher, and a washing machine. From the kitchen, a breakfast area looks out toward the village. A bedroom with two single beds and the bathroom (with shower over bath) complete this level.
Upstairs, two more bedrooms give you flexibility: one with a double bed and its own Freeview TV, the other with bunk beds. The cottage sleeps six and sits on its own grounds with a rear patio and gas barbecue, plus parking for one car on site. One dog is welcome. Wi-Fi and the essentials—bed linen, towels, electricity, and wood for the burner—are included.
The location matters: you're on a quiet lane but within walking distance of the village shop and a pub, and just downhill lie public footpaths to the Dysynni River. Cader Idris is a short drive away for walkers, while Tywyn's beaches suit families seeking sand rather than hills. Cyclists, horse riders and those keen on the narrow-gauge railway up to Dolgoch Falls will all find reason to base themselves here. No smoking indoors.
