🏡 Self-Catering Cottage 🐾 Pets Welcome

Ty Capel

Built in 1871 as a Methodist chapel, Ty Capel has been converted into a substantial holiday home that retains the character of its religious heritage while offering contemporary comfort. The six-bedroom property sits at the edge of Tywyn, close enough to the town centre for its shops and restaurants yet positioned on the fringe of Eryri National Park, with the coast just a short walk away.

The layout spreads across two floors. Ground level contains four king-size bedrooms, each with its own ensuite, plus the living spaces: a sitting room, a kitchen and dining area equipped for cooking, and a utility room. Upstairs are two further bedrooms—another king-size and a twin. The family bathrooms are positioned to serve all areas. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all provided. The kitchen has everything for self-catering: a gas range, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and washing machine. There is also a tumble dryer, and a separate fridge in the utility room.

Outside, the enclosed rear garden includes a private hot tub for six, a firepit and barbecue, and a picnic bench. Parking for three cars is available on the property itself. One well-behaved pet is welcome. The location works well for families seeking space, or groups wanting to stay together, with a sandy beach within easy reach and Snowdonia's walking and cycling routes nearby. No smoking indoors.
