Rude staff member, bloke with glasses very arrogant. The new lady on the reception was lovely though. Emptying waste is very open and right next to pitches which made it uncomfortable when emptying. I prefer it to be sheltered off for privacy. Not sure why you would want everyone watching you. Good walks near by, we had a really nice pitch and had a small grass area which was useful for the dog. Our dog can be reactive and likes his space and found it was easy to manage, we went to the South Down Way Walk, and Crab Woods which we found were both easy with the dog, although the south down way walk starts off abit narrow if your dog is reactive but after that plenty of room.

CMC club site staying two nights. We don't usually stay at club sites these days because they have become way too expensive with few leusure facilities compared to continental sites. That said this is a very nice site in a beautiful location with excellent toilet and shower block, helpful and friendly staff. Pitches are spotless, clean and well spaced out.

Excellent site. Wide pitches. Silky smooth operation there. Quiet! Nice wash block and toilets. Place to let dog off lead in fenced area too, as well as shop etc. Couldn't fault it. Will likely return.

First time staying here. Very nice site, good size pitches & the washroom/shower facilities are excellent. Very friendly wardens & they did a good job keeping the site clean & well maintained. The on site dog walk isn't very big but it does the job for early morning & late evening visits. Not far to walk to get to Magdalen Hill area for walking & a nice walk via there into Winchester, which is a lovely place to visit. Frequent bus service to Winchester just outside the site. There is some road noise & noise from rooks (I think) nesting in the trees by the entrance. Neither of which caused us any problem. We will definitely visit here again as we like the area.
