Min y Don sits on Beach Road in Harlech itself, wedged between the coast road and the beach, with views across the dunes to Snowdon on one side and up to Harlech Castle on the other. It is a Caravan and Motorhome Club site aimed squarely at touring caravans and motorhomes rather than tents, with 100 hardstanding pitches, most with electric hookup, and a modern amenity block with disabled facilities, baby changing and an accessible shower room.
The site's real strength is its location: the beach and its dunes are directly across the road, Royal St David's Golf Club is next door, and the castle and town centre are a level ten-minute walk away, making a car largely unnecessary once you have pitched up. A motorhome service point, gas supplies, laundry facilities and Wi-Fi are all provided on site, and dog walking areas are available both within the grounds and on the adjacent beach and dunes.
The site is open from March to November and welcomes non-members as well as Caravan and Motorhome Club members, though maximum outfit length is capped at 8.4 metres. There is no camping for tents and no glamping accommodation, so this is one for caravan and motorhome owners specifically, but for that market it is hard to beat for a beach and castle location combined with genuinely useful facilities.
