A beautiful stay at Thorney Mire Cabin. We were surrounded by lots of wildlife and had daily visits from the red squirrels, birds and Pheasants. The cabin was cosy, clean and well equipped with lovely touches left by Caroline. We enjoyed the campfire, local walks and sunshine. Thank you for having us, we'll be back again for sure 🌞🐿

Had an excellent weekend away here with a friend. The location is fantastic, with some lovely villages and footpaths nearby, plus some great pubs which went down well on a warm, sunny day. The cabin has everything you need for a calming weekend, and the red squirells were a great sight to wake up to. Would love to return.

What a beautiful place to stay for a few days. We were in need of some R & R, and the Thorney Mire Retreat couldn’t have been more perfect! We stayed in the Cabin, and we loved it. The fire by the bed was so cosy, the lovely big porch you could sit out on (even if it was cold - there were blankets and a log burner out there). A stargazing window above the bed was one of my favourite features and we were lucky enough to have a very clear sky on our 2nd night. I adored watching the red squirrels and little birds and pheasants peck around the cabin all day. Surrounding countryside was stunning and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. Would 100% come back.

Thorneymire is a true gem and I’m already looking to re-book. I stayed in the Shepherd Hut for a few nights - it was super clean, had excellent facilities and can see lots of little details had been thought about. I saw red squirrels, pheasants and various birds every day and couldn’t have been closer to the wildlife. Thank you for such a great stay.
