What visitors say
A beautiful place with a huge meadow surrounded by forest. It has all the essentials, including toilets and showers, as well as lovely seating areas and a table tennis table. Everything is new, thoughtfully designed, and clearly created with a lot of heart. For example, there is a lounge with a sofa where drinking water is available and guests can make tea. The whole place seems designed to make visitors feel comfortable. It feels more like the fulfilment of a dream than a commercial project. However, as this is a pop-up campsite that is only open for 60 days a year, there are no facilities such as a rubbish disposal area or a wastewater disposal point.

Had a lovely long weekend and Field and Fallow Campsite. Had a great time with friends and made the most of an amazing site with great facilities, lovely sauna and really enjoyed the communal campfire! We brought our own pizza ovens but the overall weekend was amazing. Rosie who runs the site is lovely!

This is a gorgeous campsite. Things started really well with an amazing welcome from Rosie. The site is intimate with great facilities. I felt so chilled staying here. It’s a shame that this is only a pop up.

We had the best time at this campsite, highly recommend. It’s like an oasis. Rosie is a brilliant host and we could not have felt more welcome and relaxed. The outdoor shower is a game changer!
