About Shobdon Airfield Caravan Park And Campsite

Shobdon Airfield Caravan Park and Campsite sits on the edge of Bodenham, a village in Herefordshire close to the Wye Valley. The site offers pitches with shower facilities on hand.

The real draw here is what lies nearby. The Wye Valley is one of the most scenic river valleys in Britain, with walking and cycling routes threading through woodland and farmland. Hereford itself—a cathedral city with a long history—is just down the road, as is the wider border country between England and Wales. You're well positioned for exploring this quieter part of the Midlands, whether you want to hike, visit local pubs, or spend time in the surrounding countryside.

Lovely family and dog friendly campsite. Facilities were spotless, grounds were beautiful and very well maintained. Darren and the other guy were lovely and so friendly and very helpful toasting the kids marshmallows for them on the bonfire. The kids made some friends and were on the park or playing football til dark when it was time for a disco and bonfire. Little gem of a place.

Just done a weekend there in our tourer, fully off grid. Communal Fire and Fire Engine Disco on a Saturday night was very unique! Saw the owner once upon payment then was looked after by a couple who stay on site. Always making sure everything is OK and happy to help. Kids play are in a small wooded area is brilliant, gives the sense of real outdoor adventure play. Fire pits can be hired and wood can be purchased. Toilets were basic and no shower but immaculately clean and a very well looked after site. The only dislike was, it was quiet while we were there, only around 6 other families. This place should be fully booked every weekend, it has a really good vibe! Get booking and take your friends.

What an amazing experience, fantastic fun with plenty of grass/fresh air for the children we loved sleeping in the Fire Engine 'Big Red'. Caring staff, clean amenities. Catering for all my disability needs. Every thought out well in a quirky way !!! Thank you !
