Sterretts Caravan Park

Come here in my tourer caravan with my partner and we instantly fell in love with the site. The location is great, loads to do on site and surrounding areas. There’s a butterfly sanctuary right outside, gin gardens and a canal on site. You can also rent a canoe on site which is such a lovely activity on a warm day. Everyone is lovely and welcoming. The owners dawn and Alan are great and always on hand and happy to help. We loved it that much we sited here! There is always entertainment in the club house like bingo, live music and parties but it is quiet from 11pm so you can relax and get a good nights sleep too. My family enjoy coming here too, there is entertainment for all ages, my 2 year old grand daughter loves the inflatables and bouncy castle area. The toilet and shower facilities are always clean too and there’s plenty of them which means no queues. We had a fantastic stay at Symonds Yat Caravan Park in our motorhome. The site is beautifully maintained, with spacious pitches and spotless facilities. Alan and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location is perfect for exploring Symonds Yat and the surrounding Wye Valley, with lovely walks and stunning scenery right on your doorstep. It was peaceful, well-organised, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone travelling by motorhome or caravan. Upon arrival, we was greeted by Alan, a true gentleman who explained the site rules and told us where the toilet and shower facilities was (all clean and tidy) then took us to the field that we was book on to, the field is a level and easy place to park up. Great site all clean and tidy and a few times a day Alan would be going around checking everything is ok with campers, music has to be played at a respectable volume and off by 11pm so it’s an easy place to sleep. All in all I would recommend stay here especially as it’s so easy to get to and the bonus of been on the river wye (great for paddle boarding and canoeing)

Another great weekend at Symonds Yat caravan park. Easy to get to from the main A449. Great pitch spaces, we have used both electric and non electric pitches. Shower block and toilets are always clean and tidy and Alan the manager is always friendly and helpful. Will be booking up again soon. Short walk to the river where our dog enjoyed a cool off. Great relaxing place to stay 100% recommend 😊
