Mortimer Trail Mews
Herefordshire, County of
Mortimer Trail Mews comes fully equipped for a self-catering stay. The single open-plan living space includes a kitchen with electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge, so you can cook properly rather than make do. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included. Everything is on the ground floor: bedroom with a double bed, ensuite with walk-in shower, and a living and dining area with Freeview TV. Two cars can park on site, and there's a bike store if you're exploring by cycle.
The mews sits on the edge of Herefordshire near Leominster, within reach of the Mortimer Trail and Black and White Trail—both popular with walkers and cyclists. The Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains are close enough for a day trip. Hay-on-Wye, Croft Castle and the Cider Museum are all nearby; Hereford offers its cathedral, racecourse and water sports on the river. A pub and restaurant are 400 yards away, with a shop a quarter-mile distant. One dog is welcome. The property is not suitable for young children, as there is an unfenced pond 18 inches deep in the adjoining grounds. No smoking inside.
