The Owd House

Families and small groups will find The Owd House practical for a countryside break. It has three bedrooms—a kingsize, a double with ensuite, and a single—sleeping five across one bathroom and an ensuite. The ground floor holds a living room with woodburner and smart TV, a kitchen fitted for proper cooking with a gas range and dishwasher, and a separate toilet. Upstairs are the bedrooms and a family bathroom with bath and shower. One dog stays free. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available if needed.

The village of Chisworth sits on the edge of the High Peak, with a public footpath directly outside leading into ancient woodland. From there, walking and cycling routes into the surrounding landscape are immediate—no car needed to start exploring. The property has its own enclosed garden with patio and furniture, off-street parking for two cars, and wi-fi indoors. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. Smoking is not permitted. Check-in is after 15:00 and checkout before 10:00.
