Fernleigh House

Couples looking for seclusion will find Fernleigh House deep in a 400-acre Highland forest in Strathglass Valley. The cabin sleeps two and comes as a complete, private retreat with electricity, bed linen and towels included. A wood-burning stove keeps things warm in the evenings, and large windows frame the surrounding native Scottish woodland. The open-plan interior has a mezzanine bedroom with a super-king bed accessed by wooden ladder, fitted with a roof window for stargazing. Downstairs, a sofa and kitchen with oven, hob and fridge provide everyday comfort. The single bathroom has a shower, basin and WC. Outside, a balcony with hammock and chiminea offers a place to sit among the birch and stream sounds.

The location puts you within 30 minutes of Loch Ness and Glen Affric, and Beauly village—start of the North Coast 500—is 20 minutes away.
