Dunbeath sits on the far northeast coast of the Highlands, where the landscape opens out towards empty moorland and mountains inland, with the sea just beyond the village. Morven View stands two miles inland from Dunbeath Bay, positioned to take in the wilderness views while remaining within reach of both the shoreline and the scattered communities that dot this thinly populated corner of Scotland. The property sits on ground level throughout, which suits families or groups wanting straightforward access to all the main living spaces without stairs.

Three bedrooms sleep eight: a kingsize with its own bathroom, two doubles with ensuite facilities, and a third room that combines a double, single and pull-out single. The main living area centres on a wood-burning stove; the kitchen is equipped to cook full meals with a range, dishwasher and all the essentials. Outside, there's a private hot tub for six, a dedicated barbecue hut, and parking for four cars. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are all included. The property does not allow smoking.

This location works well for exploring the less visited Highlands – the North Coast 500 route passes relatively close by, and the fishing villages of Helmsdale, Brora and Lybster are within an easy drive. Duncansby Head and Cape Wrath make dramatic day trips. The nearest shop, pub and restaurant are around two to two-and-a-half miles away in Dunbeath itself, while a beach lies three miles off. One dog is welcome.
