Beauly sits in the Highlands where farmland meets hills, and Terra Verde occupies a quiet lane on the village edge with uninterrupted views across open countryside. The detached house stands alone on a generous plot, with a lawned garden, patio and parking for three cars—plenty of space to feel properly removed from things.
Inside, everything runs on one level. The main living area opens onto the garden through patio doors, with sofas, a smart TV and a dining table that seats six. The kitchen is fully fitted for cooking: double oven, electric hob, dishwasher, microwave and substantial storage. A utility room handles laundry. Three bedrooms sleep six: a king with ensuite shower, a double, and a twin. The family bathroom has a shower over the bath. Electricity, wifi, bed linen and towels are included. A welcome pack of Scottish food and drink arrives with you.
The village itself sits half a mile away and has what you'd expect—supermarkets, a butcher, baker, chemist and local shops. No smoking inside the property.

Faultless. The location was perfect for our trip, the house was modern, comfortable, and clean. Everything within the property was new and of a high standard (the duvets were amazing!). Clearly the property was well designed for the purpose of being a great holiday home. Alan and Isobel were fantastic and accommodating hosts who were on hand whenever we needed anything. They even had Christmas decorations up, a real home away from home. We are frequent visitors to the area and will always be looking at Terra Verde's availability before booking anywhere else in future.

Only been here one night out of seven so far and can absolutely say one of the best places we've ever stayed in. If I had to be pushed to make any suggestions for improvement the only one I could think of, would be to have a couple of soft pillows available too in addition to the choice of firm and medium. But I'm nitpicking. The location is a touch outside of Beauly, which has loads of shops and cafes etc. The skies are lovely and dark. The house itself is spacious and we just loved the big bath, walk in showers and the kitchen is amazing. Will come back next year
